We are a non-profit organization born out of a life-defining experience at the House of Hope orphanage in Uganda. Our founder, moved by an eye-opening visit as a volunteer aid worker, was inspired by the resilience and courage of the children he encountered. This transformative journey ignited a passion to create a brighter future for orphans and the local community.
What made this experience so special was the realisation of how happiness can flourish in the cruellest of environments. On the initial visit, it was a time of drought. Witnessing the joy and laughter of children dancing, their faces lighting up with smiles, was nothing short of transformational. These moments of pure, unfiltered happiness were a stark contrast to the harsh realities they faced daily. Even a stark reality to life in Australia – surrounded by first world opportunity but not as happy or able to live in the moment by any stretch. The ability to live in the moment is rare and has been lost in first world countries to digital technology. It was humbling to see their curiosity and excitement as they tried to understand where or what Australia is, despite the challenges surrounding them.
This profound experience instilled a deep sense of purpose and commitment in our founder. It became clear that these children, who could find joy in the simplest of moments, deserved every opportunity to build a better future. Thus, our organisation was established with a mission to provide holistic education and support for needy and vulnerable children in Uganda.

In addition to education, we recognise the importance of providing comprehensive support to our students. We work closely with medical aid organisations to ensure that critically ill children receive the care they need Our goal is not only to educate but also to nurture and support their overall well-being of each child

$45 per month is all it takes to sponsor a child and really make a difference. Sponsorship ensures they have good accommodation, 3 meals a day, clean clothing, a school uniform, primary or secondary education and basic medical expenses.
We also welcome one off donations to help our cause. All donations are tax deductible.
