Welcome to the School of Hope! We are a non-profit organisation founded by Clayton Cross after an eye-opening visit to the House of Hope orphanage in Uganda as a volunteer aid worker. Inspired by the resilience and courage of the children he encountered, Clayton dedicated himself to creating a brighter future for the orphans and the local community. He is joined by Jack Bear who represents a new generation seeking to support vulnerable children of Uganda after his own volunteer experience of seeing their plight.
Our mission is to provide a holistic education and support system for needy and vulnerable children in Uganda. We plan to build new permanent classrooms, to provide a safe and comfortable learning environment for our students. This empowers them to secure employment and build a stable foundation for their future.
We are an Australian Charity assisting needy children in Uganda.
The children are predominantly orphans, HIV+, abandoned, neglected, or abused children and brought to the attention of the School Of Hope for safety, education and love.
Our goals are to Educate children to ensure they can have a better life, gain employment and a sense of purpose in life.
In addition to education, we recognise the importance of providing comprehensive support to our students. We work closely with medical aid organisations to ensure that critically ill children} receive the care they need_ Our goal is not only to educate but also to nurture and support theu overall well-being of each child
At the School of Hope, we believe that every child deserves a chance at a better life, and we are committed to making that dream a reality With your help, we can continue to change lives and create a brighter future for the children of Uganda Together, we can transform the world, one child at a time.
$45 per month is all it takes to sponsor a child and really make a difference. Sponsorship ensures they have good accommodation, 3 meals a day, clean clothing, a school uniform, primary or secondary education and basic medical expenses.
We also welcome one off donations to help our cause. All donations are tax deductible.
